cut away the slats and make a real grille for it.

You should have went with the Street Scene I with the grill in the bottom.

But to answer your question, definitely do not leave your unpainted parts on. They would look terrible in my opinion.

There isn't one line that's appealing on that bumper, sorry.
A perfect picture won't be more help, lol.

This is a perfect example of import crowd Companies getting in the Domestic scene...
Quite often, it equals to styling failure.
