They look shorter on the yellow car. Seems like a lot of space, above and below the lights. Don't they have "back up" lights built into tail lights? The yellow car has the "back up" lights put on the bumper. Don't think I like that, but would like to actually see a car with them. That could change my mind....

All the lights are functional.

I think they might look better on a car without a ducktail believe it or not.
And remember the lights on the Challenger did look alot like the GT500's for a while so
that is not saying a whole lot.

I think as long as you kept your badge on the back it would look plenty like a Mustang. The part I question is the small gap in the lights at the trunk.
I wonder how "patched up" this would make them look IRL.
I'm sure on a black stang the gap would not show near as much.

I gotta admit I am starting to dig them and so many of our mods us "old school S197ers" have are being done by new owners that the individuality and coolness is being normal everyday looks.

My goal is to be different without stupid rice looking crap.

I will be debating doing this mod.
I just want to see it on a "cleaner" Mustang... I.E. one with not so many ground effects and other things going on with it. I think that would give a much better feel to how it looks.

I personally like them. And for $600, that's not too bad for such a drastic change to the backside of the car. I hope to pick them up someday.

Yeah I'm not digging that ducktail at ALL.
It's tall enough to be a fence on the friggin Texas border.
Not understanding the clear tiny circle lights on the bumper either.

I really like the ducktail with those lights actually. If I don't go this route, I am thinking of going old school "mach 1" style. cdc ducktail + low pedestal spoiler..
