What's the deal with my paint (pics)
#11
Looking at my car this morning I think I realized where the paint is getting these spots and streaks from -- dew. Every morning my car is covered in dew and, of course, I get in it and drive to work thus having the wind dry it off.
I'll try some of the recommendations here to clean it off. The only problem is, if I'm right, it will return unless I can find some way to prevent dew from getting all over the car. Probably a car cover is my best bet but I've heard they can scuff the paint is the wind kicks up. Or maybe one of those little metal frame car ports that have become popular.
Anyway, thanks for the advice.

Bottom line is you need to clay bar it.
I dont see dew doing that. Unless you have really hard dew where you
are hahaha. Remember dew is just moisture.
You didnt' describe it as something that just wipes off.
It could be sap as well if you are close to a tree.
Small dots of sap can be a bitch to get off.
Sap is BAD for car paint in the long run.
Clay bar it... see if it comes off... if it does then get a car cover.
If it does not come off, take it to the dealer and get it buffed and see if that works.
