Exclamation recommened hid kit for 2008?

Hey guys whats your recommendation for an hid conversion kit. I'm looking for the best and most affordable one. They'll be going in my stock headlights. BTW my car is a 2008 in case that matters.

Thanks guys

I hear good things about retro solutions...they are a site sponsor and i'm pretty sure they have a great warranty if things go wrong

I hate hids.
Both the way they make the car look, AND the way
they look to other drivers. They make the car look a rice to me
for some reason.
To me they almost blind my *** when I see someone with them too.

To me they may make driving easier on the driver but man
I can't help thinking people with them are inconsiderate
towards other drivers.
Maybe that's just me and I'm stupid with bad eyes
or something but I have heard a couple of other
people say this as well.

Not doggin anyone.
Just my two cents/humble opinion/ whatever etc. etc.

They look rice because people put $10, 10k color temp HIDs in stock housings without bulb caps. The result is a blue headlight that scatters light everywhere, blinds other drivers, and provides almost no usable light over stock (the whole point of HIDs).

If you put a 5-6k quality HID with caps in a stock headlight housing, it looks factory.

IF you are gonna want to keep your high beams then your are going to have to pay a little bit more and get a Bixenon kit. When you choose what Kelvin rating you want at the bottom, if you start going over 6k then it starts getting really blue and could get you in trouble. I have 5k and it is straight white. I have this company's and i wouldnt change it out. Nice guys over there and a great product. Easy install too.

Lol... You're one of those drivers that flashes their highbeams at me coming the other way.

A friend of mine ordered them through ddm and had nothing but headaches. Took forever to ship, sent 12k instead of 6k, one bulb was DOA, took forever to send them back and then get the new set. I'd stay away

+1 for RestroSoulutions!

I purchased their 5000k HID kit for my fog lights and they matched my factory HID headlights perfectly.

Just as others suggested, get the bi-xenon 5000k bulbs with the bulb caps and you will be fine. I have run my fogs with my headlights for about a year now and probably only got flashed 3 or so times.
