Default Powder Coating Wheels Questions

Two questions about powder coating are, how long do they usually last on wheels (from chrome to black/matte black) and is $65 per wheel a decent deal?

I think there are certain companies that can re-chrome the lips of your 20's but not that many out there. I'm talking about from chrome to black or matte black. Surprised not one person stopped by to answer a real simple question yet.

I was looking into this not long ago, from my understanding, chrome is a difficult metal to work with when it comes to painting/powdercoating due to not being able to get the product to stick long term to the wheels. Some very heavy and somewhat pricey chemicals are needed in order to etch and prime the chrome. 65$ per wheel seems like a great price almost to good, I would be considered as to how long it would last.

Gotcha. I was thinking that sandblasting would take care of that chrome part but I guess not?
