Default Stripes on chin-spoiler

Yet another opinion thread.

Throw me your opinions on chin-spoilers. Keep em black? Paint to match? Or painted and apply matching rally stripes?

My Stang is already Sporting a Silver and Black theme with red highlights (see my garage for close-ups), so keeping it unpainted would clearly match what I've done so far (My quarter window louvers are black)

However, I think having it painted and extending my rally stripes to the ground would be pretty hot too, since I've been looking for a way to get some of my red highlights a little closer to the ground. If I went this route, I'd have to stripe my rear bumper too to match, and I'm not sure that would look well with my custom decklid panel. Thoughts?

I'm not really a fan of painting the chins. When I get mine, I'm gonna keep it black, which also goes with the contrast theme

I am also not a fan of the stripes painted on chin spoilers. However, extending your stripes down the front and rear bumpers would look good!

Extend my stripes down the bumpers?!!!??

But... but... that'll cost me $14

Yeah... I'm planning on it, but I'm still not sure it will look right with This Decklid

Yeah I'm not a fan of stripes that stop before the bumper. Looks incomplete to me

I debated that myself and decided to keep it black...

I think if you get a chin spoiler it should be painted black, that will go best with your silver black theme.

Looks like there is a pretty good consensus of leaving it black but getting my bumpers striped. That is what I was planning, so it's nice to see *most* agree. I did a Gimp (That's photoshop for smart people :P ) and I think the stripes on the rear bumper while having a blackout decklid panel won't look too bad after all. It'll be a little while before I get the chin spoiler, but I'll share pics when it's done. Thanks for the opinions everyone!
