Make sure you get someone that know how to paint a fiberglass hood. I have the Trufiber Venom on mine and it cost $900. Theres a lot of prep work to do. It may look great with the jell coat but when its painted black, it shows everything. The shop I went to painted mine 2 times and now he won't work on it anymore. Ask to see there work before you decide who to go with.

sorry if youve been waiting for a while for a reply. havent been on for a lil bit. even during heavy rain ive never had any problems with rain going into the scoop in the front. and the rain is no threat when entering the heat vents. doesnt get any important parts wet. in fact, sometimes when i drive somewhere and wash my mustang i intentionally spray down the vents because it looks awesome seeing the 2 colums of steam, one from each vent rising up.

Thanks red.
Noodle it can sometimes be better to go to a small shop to paint. They are trying to establish a clientele and need the references so they'll take a lil more care. just make sure to check there previous work because they could also be looking for a quick buck too.

Oh and when it rains the water goes down onto the radiator cover and then from there i do not know where but it hasnt hurt anything yet so i dont mind. There is a lil lip inside of the slots that actually catches a good amount of the water too.
