$150 for a hood?? Did it fall off the back of a truck?

I've never seen hoods that cheap before, in any car market, even back in my tuner days unless it was from a scrap yard. I'd be highly skeptical of the quality, fit and finish for such a price...

All in my humble opinion, of course.

Heres the deal. They show a picture of the GT500 hood, but the title says GT hood. So either way, they don't really know what they're talking about. But, they have had pictures up in the past, of other colored GT500 hoods, which leads me to believe they aren't just plain GT hoods.

They are too far of a drive for me to check them out during the week, so I can't confirm what they have. I guess I could call, but I figured I'd ask about fitment before I found out

THEY ARE INDEED LIKE THE HOOD IN THE PHOTOS, FROM FORD, IN NEW CONDITION.

At $150, I gotta get one, right?

UH, H*ll Yea...And PLEASE take pics...I'm on the verge of getting one as well...Their hoods include everything, correct? (Hood, Paint, underhood liner, windshield squirters, mounting accessories)? Wonder how much the'd ship one to me? I have a local (3 hours one way) I am looking into...

I updated my original pic post (page 1) with 2 pdfs (having trouble attaching these 2 with *.jpg)...It takes a small amount of time to see them, but they are way closer and 'cleaner' than the other 3 i posted...

That Drake car is a Shelby GT. It had a stock grill on that car.

I think I can get away with the gap because I have a black car, and a Bullitt grill, so I don't think it's as noticeable...

Well, it appears legit...and if they are telling the truth i.e. original hoods, then you're in a win/win situation - cheap and good looking hood (at least this will save you money to be used on changing out your front end to a GT500 in order to address the whole gap issue ).

Good luck to you on this, keep this thread updated if you do go ahead with the buy (I for one am curious to see how this turns out).

It requires a little work to clear the bumper pillars of the GT though.
Pascal, what kind of work?

I'm planning on selling them my hood on the spot, and installing my hood there. Is that a possibility? Or is there a lot of modification to get it to fit?

Thanks in advance

The brackets that hold the bumper pillars have to be moved down and inward a bit so the hood doesn't hit there anymore.
They're hard plastic urethane and can be easily altered...
