Default GT500 Hood on C/S ?

Anyone got a GT500 hood on a non-GT500 Mustang?

I think I may have found a sweet deal locally, and was wondering if they fit/look good on Mustang with C/S front bumper

Pics would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance!

I believe that the hood will fit, but there will be a gap between the hood and the center of the grill.

Exactly. Since the GT500 pillars are angled, there is a raise in the middle of the hood. And the GT(GT/CS) pillars are not, you will have a raise in the middle of the hood and a gap between there and the top of the grille. It may look a little weird having that gap.

It won't look any worse than it does on a GT but will still be out of sync IMO...
It requires a little work to clear the bumper pillars of the GT though.

I guess what it comes down to, is this:

Are those vents coolness greater than the eyesore of the gap between the hood and grill?

I may have found a few hoods here in Phoenix at a pick-a-part for $149 + tax. According to their Craigslist ad, they have one in my color (black), but I'm in the middle of buying some wheels and tires, so I can't say this hood is a priority...
