I'm really late to this party, but I'm going to say Yay!
You might need to refine the design a little before you finalize it. To make it flow right, you might look for small ways to use those accent colors elsewhere as well. Center caps, mirror covers, hood or decklid accents. But, you will want to do something to pull it all together for the entire car.
If you look at the closeups of my car (my garage), you'll know that I'm a BIG advocate of doing your own thing, creating your own style, and standing apart as unique.
You plan on buying your own vinyl and doing the install yourself?
