are there still any "new take-off" 05-09 gt front bumpers torch red available?
anyone know a place that still has them?
my bumper has its fair share of paint chips from daily driving.
prep/paint has been estimated by body shops around $350 give or take. not sure about the color match outcome, i guess a new take-off bumper would be the better option but it seems they are now to old and non around in that color at least anymore.
there are repainted bumpers on ebay but they make a big point of the fact that the paint will NOT match due to new vs out in the elements for years, some appear to be redone oem's, some repops but that does not appear to be a good option, i think.
any suggestions and paint match experience is very much appreciated.

They were getting really hard to come by over a year ago when I did my GT bumper swap. I bought mine from an eBay seller and the car had low miles on it, but I don't think it was considered new take off. Your best bet might be to just get it painted. If the paint doesn't match your car, they have to fix it.

i actually found this at a web search before but the website is somewhat screwed up (i looked at it on 2 different computers) and the phone # goes directly to a generic voicemail, so far i have no reason to trust that this is actually a legit operation.

I'm in the same boat with my rear bumper. It needs repainted (I think it was painted before I got the car and they did a lousy job, paint is thin and finish doesn't match well) and I am debating taking it and having it repainted or finding a factory take-off.
The painted CS rear bumpers from Ebay, painted and shipped for $425 (Or $475, maybe) are awful tempting though. The paint on my spoiler matched perfectly, and it was an Ebay store purchase as well...
