Satin silver convertible...what color stripes??
Hi. I have a satin silver 06 GT with a stock hood scoop, gt500 spoiler, cdc classic chin spoiler painted ss as well. Lowered with Eibach Pros and anthracite 17's if anyone cares
I'm really wanting to stripe the car from the bottom of the cdc to the bottom of the rear bumper in a 12" kit with 1.5 inch separation but cant decide on white or black stripes.
I think everyone does black stripes on a satin silver (except a few who've done blue or red)
I think the look great, but I want to be somewhat different.
I'm REALLY digging the look of this guys car (sorry if its yours, but its bad!)
AND its different!
BUT I'm worried about the fact that I'm a ragtop and the black roof wont flow well with the white stripes when the tops up.
What do you all think? Help me decide!
Thanks

OP, I like that white with the silver but as you stated you have a black rag top which may not flow so well. You could post some pictures of your car in the Chop Shop forum and ask Xeno if he could photoshop your car. He can apply black and white stripes so you can get an idea what it could look like.

Honestly, go with a dark gray color. Not quite black, not white. It'll look sick on silver. If you're worried about the roof, just don't go over the top. I rounded mine ('69 camaro style) on the edge of the hood. Looks awesome!

don't do blue if you have a convertible. it would look completely off. white would look good and not many people get the white with silver so it would be unique. however, just due to the fact that your roof is black and most likely your interior as well, black stripes would be the best match.
white would still look great and i would actually say go white just because no one else does. you would stand out in a good way.
i have tungsten gray with a black C stripe.
i know its not you color or stripes but hope it shows how how all the black matches up with all the rest of the car around the windows and such. my vote still goes white though.
