Default Options for taking off the spoiler...

Guys,
I want to take off my rear spoiler...well, actually, I already did, and I didn't like the look of having the push-in clips to cover the holes. Does anyone have any good suggestions to fix this? Or where would be a good place to get a new rear deck lid? Or finally, how much would be a good price to pay to have the holes filled in professionally?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks.

I'm in the same boat as you. I haven't taken mine off yet, but was contemplating doing it, and filling the holes with plugs...

Do you have any pics of what you did?

I'm just curious, not a thread jacker

Here's an old thread about it;

You may find more if you type in holes left by spoiler in the search box.

I don't mind them too much, the scratches left over from me trying to clean off the debris from the GT500 spoiler does though.. it needs to be buffed.

I got my plugs from Napa. I have the stock spoiler on now, but going with plugs later on again. I lilke the clean look..

If you don't like the push-in plugs to cover the holes... then don't do it.

i used these:

sanded them down, painted, and cleared coated them. Then bolted them in with lock washers and clear silicone. Don't let some forum members turn you away from this, they are the ones who have not tried it. Mine and many others on this website have been thru snow/rain/hail... no leaks. Just make sure you do it right.
