Hey guys, so I have a 2005 sonic blue v6 mustang with 18" saleen 5 spoke chrome rims and duel exhaust gt-take offs. I recently wrecked my front bumper and decided to get the cs6 front bumper, im also installing clear lense turn signals. I ordered it today to be sent to a family friends body shop. my question is how will the bumper look with the stock v6 side skirts and rear bumper. Im scared the fronts gonna look alot lower then the rest of the car. I wanna paint the side skirts and get a gt bumper but i dont have the cash. do you guys think it will look ok? or is it a must to paint the side skirts and get a lower sitting bumper.

Should look fine, I run the GT500 front without color matching side skirts....
I would pick up a GT rear bumper soon though, I think it will look funny with the front being nice and the rear still a V6

If you do, it will throw the body lines off, unless you get the GT500 rear which doesn't have the painted sides. Once I installed my GT/CS rear, it was obvious that I needed to pick up a pair of painted side skirts. I'm really satisfied with the look though, looks a lot lower

Well, Caroll Shelby did put painted rocker panels on. Can't tell what the rear looks like in this picture.....let me find another.

I guess if the CS6 is what you are aiming for, start saving your $ and get a GT bumper. BTW, I love the CS6!
