Racing stripes? Price and placement
I have a silver 2006 v6 and I am gonna get 8 inch racing stripes. Is $400 a good price for the hood, trunk and roof, and an extra 200 for bumpers, and 20 for the spoiler?
Also what do you think looks better, stripes on the bumpers or not on the bumpers?

That seems a bit high to me unless it includes installation my friend.
As for stripes on the bumpers. YES.
To me stripes look incomplete without them going all the way down the bumpers
both front and back.

I would agree that bumper to bumper is the only way to go. Mine don't go down the bumpers yet, because my current stripes were just to hold things over until I found the right carbon fiber stripe solution. In April I will redo my stripes from bumper to bumper.
As for the price, that's really high ($620!!!). The vinyl itself to do a complete car with 8" stripes costs only about $60.00. So, that much mark up for installation is kinda crazy.
Also, I would seriously consider at least 10" stripes. 8" looks pretty wimpy IMO
Lastly, putting the stripes on yourself really isn't that hard. When I did my stripes the first time, I watched some youtube how-to videos and ordered my vinyl ($60) and proceeded to royally screw them up. LOL BUT I ordered some more vinyl (another $60) and got it PERFECT on the second try. The Moral of the story is that even with screwing up, I still paid a fraction of what you are saying. Plus, I learned a cool skill that I have since used to put stripes on other peoples car like a pro.

Way too high. Look at jerseyautoparts.com for some. Much cheaper, and great quality! I ordered mine from there and installed them myself in some spare time. Install them yourself, it's actually very easy, and much much more satisfying when you are finished.
