Default Stock GT hoods look "Dinky".

Is it just me that thinks this? It just looks WAY to small for the whole car and looks out of place. Id like to switch hoods before i paint my stripes on (vinyl right now). Suggestions on what would look good would be cool too!

Are you referring to the shaker scoop? If so, I have to agree. I've always felt it was way too small compared to how massive the car is. I don't think there's really any fix other than going to the aftermarket for a non-shaker hood

you could do the Cervini's B9 hood kit and then you would look more like the BOSS in your signature

Even better than the Cervini one would be the Trufiber B429 hood. http://www.trufiber.com/Trufiber_Mus...f10024-a40.htm

Very great suggestions!

I would like to just get the B9 hood scoop which fits on my factory hood and only costs 170.00. But is it worth getting the whole B-429 ram air hood kit and paying the extra 230.00, plus the paint itll require? I mean does the ram air actually make a difference when you have a CAI?

Damn you Derek... I can't wait to get mine!!

ike, Ask Menes's GT, but the ram air on the Trufiber hoods actually works! Air is tunneled to the factory airbox location.
