Yea, that's kind of a big deal... Are you going with black? white? silver? baby-puke green? haha. I love black stripes on red mustangs, but that's personal preference, like all of these other posts on this thread.

I'd say if it ain't broke, don't fix it. You've got yourself a great looking car right now, and with that hood and bumper... lights out.

Might I suggest keeping the black rear spoiler and filler panel, then painting the SS stripe over just the scoop portion of the hood? Maybe down to the edge of the hood, but leave the trunk/bumpers alone. I think the hood only stripe will balance the black on the rear end, and let you keep the look you like for the rear.

I'm not a stripes kind of guy but that could be because I'm not as young as most of you guyz. I think of stripes as more of a "kid" thing all though a few of the more "mature" (no offense to anyone, young OR old) folks have stripes. I suppose it's whatever floats your boat.

IMO, stripes will increase your chances of getting pulled over solely because of stigma.

Now that I think of it...
With the stripes, you car will be looking too close to the SS up front, with the hood and all.
You might wanna think about that if it's not what you're after necessarily.

Just thinking about the way your car looks with the hood on. I think I like the idea of the clean look. No stripes. Though I think the stripes would look good.
