Default Wheel Ideas for a Satin Silver 05 GT?

Hey guys, I haven't been on the forums in a while. Sold my 03 sonic blue gt and picked up a 05 Satin Silver GT. I love the car to death already. Got a deal on this one, only has 40,000 miles on it and I paid 15,000 for it. Has red interior, which at first I wasn't a fan of, but now I'm loving it! The car is bone stock right now. I plan on doing bolt-ons and such, but defnitely want to get a nice set of wheels for it soon. I love chrome, but I feel that chrome doesn't look great on silver cars. I'm open to suggestions fellas. Ideally I'd like 18's, just because tire prices are outrageous for 19 inch wheels. I love the dark charcoal RTR mustang wheels, but I just can't justify paying nearly 300 dollars a wheel. Let me know what wheels you think would look best on a silver gt. Thanks guys!

Wheels are such a personal choice it's not funny. However, since you asked, I'll have to state that I'm not a fan of chrome but that it's very car-dependent. I personally like the brushed satin look, similar to most of the OE '05 - '09 wheels. I went with a set of '07 OE takeoff GT500 wheels; just enough to be noticed but not take over the car's appearance.

A club member has a 2009 Satin Silver GT with 18" Chrome Wheels and they look great! He did a poll with several other wheels and the majority chose the current chrome wheels on his car.

Those chrome bullets look good. Ugh, on my old mustang it was such an easy choice on wheels. I literally change my mind about wheels daily. I really like the 10th anniversary cobra wheels through late model restoration. I had chrome on my last car and kinda wanna try something different this time around. I think black wheels with a machined lip would look pretty darn good on silver. Keep up with the suggestions guys, I've been searching around for the last week.

I always was a fan of black wheels on silver cars but that pick that kevinmalec posted with the chrome bullitts look amazing. I would get the staggered deep dish chrome set up like I have on my vista blue. American Muscle is where I got mine. I get looks all the time.
