This hood is a love hate with me. Love the center, has a viper look about it but hate the side vents. They remind me of floor registers at my house and just look cheesy to me. Color match or painting them matte black would definatly help i would think.
This was my exact thought too.
I think I would definitely paint the vents either blue or black so they won't stick out so much.
