Default New Edge wheels on s197 hitting fender

I'm going to get new edge black chrome saleen 18x9 wheels. I relize with 275/40-18 all around they are going to stick out in the rear. My dad asked if I hit a big of a bump the fender will hit my tires which obviously is bad. If anyone has seen these wheels on my car (black) please post a link because I have yet to find one. Thanks in advance.

Why wouldn't you get them with the right offset so they don't stick out?

Because they do not make black chrome saleen wheels for my body. They make it in black and chrome for ours only. I want to go black chrome. :/

On a stock suspension you will be fine, but if you plan to lower at some point its gonna be close. I have seen plenty of guys go with this setup and have reported zero problems until they start dropping their rides.

My rims were bought for a NE off of AM.
The offset looks good, the rims are flush with the fender.
I think it looks pretty sweet.
