Question is an easy answer in any section but what brought you to this section lol?
Yep, brought it here for the traffic; SVT section sees considerably less and the S197 has the same bumper and hood materials. Plus this is a paint question more-so than a car specific question.

Big401,
Since you're in the biz and understanding that you get what you pay for... if I did a complete repaint of the car (preserving the black), what would I expect to pay for that - approximately? Keeping in mind its a convertible so a little less real-estate to paint. And generally speaking, does a good painter paint right over the spoiler, side skirts, etc, while they're on the car, or does he/she remove them to paint them separately... even though it's the same color?

Thanks as always.

A good painter removes everything...
Door handles, moldings, window felts, trim etc...
He will also paint the bumpers, trunk lid and hood off the car.
The car will be in a booth, on jack stands with the wheels off.

The only thing I leave on is the windshield and rear glass IF the car isn't new.

Here, I just did that rear clip on a 65 Stang that I replaced the quarter panels on:
