Default What is the best Eleanor hood for a 2005 gt

I am getting ready to buy a new Eleanor type hood for my 2005 gt that I have put a whipple supercharger on in 2008. I would also like to add a tower brace and hydraulic hood lifts. Any suggestions on the best brand etc..

MRT hood struts from Brenspeed.
Look at Duraflex or Cervini for the hood.

Cervini's with their Struts. MRT won't hold the weight of the new hood. Ask me how I know.

+1.
Also ask Cheft, lol.

Cervini's are rated for heavier hoods since fiberglass is twice the weight as the OEM one.

Will the stock bar hold up a Cervini's hood?

It's not like the hood is 1000lbs... really...

Anyways, about the Cervini's struts. I did have one fail completely on me. While the hood was closed, the strut actually expanded itself completely and ripped the rivet stud out of the bracket. Slowly Cervini's has been helping me.

Definitely go with Cervinis for the hood. The other ones will either not look right or won't fit correctly.
