Time for a new hood, opinions?

I researched heavily into hoods before I bought mine and as was said before, consider quality of hood for cost of paint and install. I ended up going with a Cervinis 4 inch cowl but they also make a 2.5 inch one. I ordered it direct from Cervinis.

Just a note on saving you some $$$
Regardless of whatever you decide on, you need to consider the cost of installation and quality. Cervinis hoods are by consensus the best quality in the industry. For you, that means less prep time by your body shop and lower cost of installation. Thats given you dont just get it prepainted by cervinis and bolt it on.
Also, ALOT of people getting large cowl hoods complain about the lost sight lines... It makes me uncomfortable at times and the type iv has a 2" rise at max

2.5" cowl took about a week to get used to. Now I love it besides the fact that at night it's hard to see my light spread on the pavement directly up front. Makes me kind of nervous and makes me think that I need HID's because of it to cover a further distance out so I don't wreck my bumper by hitting a random armadillo.
I'd still recommend it. Cervini's knows what they're doing.

Anybody know the quality of Steeda hoods? I ask because Mustangs Unlimited is 2 hours from me so it would save me $150 on shipping and they carry Steeda hoods. Actually, they carry Kaenen too, if either are good quality I would go there tomorrow, I have the day off.

Kaenen is good stuff and I think they make the hoods for Steeda as well.
If you go there, call them first and ask if you could "Dry" fit a hood on your car when you get there.
I suspect the fit is gonna be OK anyway...
Good luck.
