Default Mr Mikes Welt

I ordered some welt trim and put in on today. Pretty happy with the product. I wasn't sure of the color I picked(electric blue) as it seemed a little bright. But once it was on the door panel it darkened up a little. Not sure about the speaker surround, I am going to leave it for a week and see what I think. It needs two sided tape to stay if I do leave it. Cheap easy mod that, to me, adds a custom look.

Great product, great customer service and fast shipping: https://secure.bcentralhost.com/mrmi...trimbright.htm

Looks kool!
But I'm not digging around the speaker.
Here's mine....

Very cool idea with the speaker surround. Haven't seen that one. I am happy with my trim welt as well. I painted mine to match because they don't offer anything close to screaming yellow.

i'd just do the one around the door, and leave the speaker surround without it. less is more, know what i mean?

Looks good, what about putting the welt between the grey trim ring and the black speaker cover? Might look better than on the outside of the whole thing.

Yea, I've also got the electric blue felt. Looks a little lighter, but still looks great.

I'm up in the air about doing the speakers too. I did my doors in silver tensile and thought about the speaker but didn't do them because I wasn't sure if it looked cheesy or not.
OIIIIO, I like how you split your dash area. Nice!

I ordered 30 feet to be safe. Doing both doors and the one surround, I would say I still have half of it left roughly.

I thought about this when I was doing it last night. Went back out this morning to try, does not work. The space in between the raised "bumps" on the speaker surrounds show too much of the welt.
