Yup I remember when that hood first came out.
Good call on that!

I agree 100%. He is trying to make the car look as close to the original as possible so this hood is DEFINITELY called for!

The hood was first used in 67, and those chrome bumpers are ugly.

It think it wouldn't look even close to the original without the chrome bumpers. Even though I personally hate chrome, those bumpers do finish the look, you just can't go retro without chrome.

From the front it does look better, but the back one just wrecks the line in the rear imo. As for no chrome, no retro...I wouldn't be so sure about that, im down to the fender and rear badges

Looks sweet to me. About as close of a clone that you're going to get using a S197.

You going to go for the Bullitt hood as well?

I'm a fan of chrome, I think it sets off this car nicely. I agree with everyone else, that MRT hodd would be the icing on the cake. Love the car either way
