Give it a try...get a Cal. duster...bunch of microfibers...and I use Meguires Quick Wax and Ultimate Detailer...you will be amazed how smooth and glossy the paint gets after continued wipedowns...the 15 mins it takes to go over my car each time beats the hell out of washing...drying and waxing...

also enjoy the amount of swirls you induce into your paint. get a flash light and shine it on your paint and take a pic of that and post up..Sure it will be swirl city.

My paint looks this way after countless hours with my buffer buffing it out and finishing out the paint with different stages of polish and pads. Also only letting top quality MF towels touch my paint as to not induce any swirls from cheap towels. There is ALOT and time and effort into making paint perfect. Notice how ZERO swirls show up in the sun reflection.
The things I have used on my car are consist of whats in my detail cabinet..this is an older pic and the amount of products has grown.
I sold my Flex 3401 and my Porter Cable 7424 and bought a Griots 6" buffer..I had no use for the Flex anymore because with the 7/8" Hydrotech pads and the Microfiber pads did everything I need.

Damn that is one hell of a job you did there! And you have tons of products too! I am personally looking into getting a PC and some adams products and just hope I could get something out of it that resembles the job you did on your car!

I go over my cars with lights all the time and have very few swirls...just have to go over it with light pressure and make sure all dust is off first... and the once a yr buffing takes care of the few swirls...Redfire does have an awesome look!..

I say invest in some Hydrotech 7/8" low profile 5.5" buffing pads..get a tangerine and a Crimson..you can use the tangerine pad with intermediate swirl polish to remove most of the defects...then you can use the ultra fine with the crimson to remove any micromarring and really bring out the gloss..The 5.5" pads are much more effective on the PC vs the 6.5" pads because of the power of the PC 6.5" pads are not the best for any of the traditional DA's they will work sure but it will take more time and little more technique. Also the MF pads from meguiars and the new Optimum MF are great.
