Can't wait to see it on Tanner!!! I held mine up to my trunk but I can't decide. I want a V6 one like you got. It's so.. beautiful. Looks to me like it shouldn't be too hard to make it fit with the dremel. Dremel FTW.

Be careful with the dremel tool.
Use some tape around the edge of the cap to guide your cutting...

Should look good Tanner, bigger too!

Lol @ mineral thinking the faux gas cap was metal. You can flick it and see its plastic!

If the 2011 emblem is plastic, drop it on a belt sander to get it perfectly flat for the '05. Just go easy so it doesn't melt.

You should have bought a V6 one, 07. Then we could be awesome twinkies! Lol

Thanks for the tip, Pascal.

Yeah, Eddie it will look good if we can get it to work without screwing up the cap.

Jeff, yeah it took it off. I really wasn't expecting that when I pulled it off.

Thanks for the tip, Pinn.

I'll keep this updated as we try it out.

It will look great, IF it works. Might fit easier with a rear deck lid insert.
