Can't wait to see it on Tanner!!! I held mine up to my trunk but I can't decide. I want a V6 one like you got. It's so.. beautiful. Looks to me like it shouldn't be too hard to make it fit with the dremel. Dremel FTW.

Be careful with the dremel tool.
Use some tape around the edge of the cap to guide your cutting...

Lol @ mineral thinking the faux gas cap was metal. You can flick it and see its plastic!

If the 2011 emblem is plastic, drop it on a belt sander to get it perfectly flat for the '05. Just go easy so it doesn't melt.

It will look great, IF it works. Might fit easier with a rear deck lid insert.
