I just wanted to post the video of my new mod, the Side Mirror Turn Signals (L.E.D arrow) . I posted a thread asking what you guys thought about it and I got some positive responses. Here is the finished product. What do you guys think?

Very nice, 197; it seems to function very nicely. My mom had directional mirrors on her old Expedition (though no external signal, just the one arrow on the mirrors) and it looked snazzy. Do you also have blue LEDs in the overhead lamp?

Thanks Yes those are Blue LEDs from suprerbrightleds.com. In my opinion those blue dome lights are thing people like most about the car, don't know why but they love it. I went for medium to high intensity but beware, even though the site says the bulbs are not oversized... they are. So if you go with those you will need some pliers to gently bend back the hard plastic in the dome light housing so you can make the opening big enough. It sounds bad but and mine broke some, but its the inside of a dome light, who really cares? Nobody will see it unless they go to replace the light

And and a warning for the Directional Side Mirrors from AM, they appear chrome in some pics but are actually smoked out. AM updated the pics so look at the pics with it actually installed on a car to understand how it looks. Also BEWARE, the instructions say to wire it in a way that makes the mirrors light up when you apply the brake. You will just need to skip the brake wiring part of the instructions and if you are having someone install it for you, tell them regardless what the instructions say DON'T hook it up to the brake lights. It won't be too hard to correct it but it's annoying.

And the mirrors from CDC insert perfectly. They do have a very slight bluish tint to the mirrors which is kind of cool and cuts down on glare (supposedly).
