I can personally relate to this issue as I have the same color and problem. I am a detailer, and I can tell you that these spots will absolutely come off with a claybar and only a claybar. I can recommend various brands of clay that you can order online or, if you don't want to wait a week for them, you can go to your local AutoZone or Napa or whatever and pick up a Mother's Goldclass claybar and a bottle of detailing spray, although it is harder to use and less effective then some online only brands. It will get the job done though. Be very thorough and make sure to keep that damned claybar WELL LUBRICATED with details spray, or you will marr up your paint. Also, before you claybar, (this should be obvious) DO A THOROUGH HAND WASH! Do NOT miss any spots. You can scratch your paint and ruin your clay. Don't pick it back up if it falls on the ground either, because it will pick up visible and invisible specs of grit that you will then be grinding into your paint. It's much better to buy a new bar then to buy a random orbital to polish the damage out with. And if you do drive anywhere in your car, even down the street, before you finish claying, REWASH the car by hand. By driving any more then a few feet you are collecting dirt and grit in the air and your car is no longer clean enough to clay. As for preventing this from happening again, well, you can't. The best you can do is keep 1-3 nice coats of wax (I can also recommend some online products, because local store stuff just don't cut it for perfection). It will lessen this orange/yellow crap's ability to stick to the paint, and you will be able to remove most of it through a simple hand wash. Washing the car by hand often and with good products (can also recommend) will help but not 100%. If you have any questions about detailing or keeping your car nice or products to use, don't hesitate to ask me.

Yep no problem. Also just noticed that we are pretty much twins. White V6 Mustangs, similar names, both from New York, both want our cars to look good, good to know.

When I read the thread title I expected what always annoyed me when we had the 07 GT/CS vert. The plastic parts looked yellow. And it seems to be the case with other white ford cars. I love white as a color, but the yellowing of plastic painted parts really put me off on ever owning a white car again.
