So you're doing the moleskin?

Not just getting the replacements that will last forever, and not have the adhesive run all over the windows?

If put on properly the running adhesive shouldn't be an issue

I know people that put it on properly, but the heat and humidity is what caused it to get goopy and streak.

Seeing he is in LA, I'd only assume this will happen to him.

Why pay $30 for a bandaid, when for $50 you get OEM parts, and its quicker to install.

Like he said. My dealer quoted me 28.00 per strip for the new ones.

I got my moleskin for about $5, I'm at work so I don't have the link handy, but I can post it as soon as I get home. I still have yet to install it but I plan on doing so this weekend because I plan on tinting my windows again soon.

I wouldn't put moleskin on if it was given to me for free with OEM parts available for $50

OK, I am now going with the '08 OEM. Thanks for the feedback!

Default Question on New Window Seals

My moleskin didn't last in the heat (as others have said) and although I ordered the new window seals from Tousely Ford, the parts they sent match the seals that are already on my '07 (no felt).

The part numbers they sent (see below) match what I ordered using the numbers from this thread. Anyone thoughts on how to get the new seals with the felt?

Thanks,
Greg

They should be the new ones, as once the 08's came out you couldn't get the older ones anymore.

If the part # didn't change, you could of just gotten a really old set. I know I got mine from Tousley and they were the new felt-y ones.

I put the 08 OEM felt strips on my 06 right before I got it tinted about 3 years ago, ford dealer actually did it under warranty.. No issues to this day.
