Default To Stripe or not to stripe

I have a 2008 Vista Blue V6 Convertible with Tan(Parchment) top and tan/black interior.

It has the rocker stripe (goldish, parchmentish..not really either one).

I like the look of the single wide stripe with pinstriping but I just don't know how it would look with the convertible top. Also, I can't find any stripes that would match the top. I have found some gold metallic but once again it won't match.

I just feel that maybe 4 colors on the car is going to be too much. Blue, tan, gold, then whatever the stripes are.

I have seen some Blue cars with White stripes and it looks really good. Maybe pull the tan rocker stripes and replace them with white, then go with the white stripe?

Opinions??

Or just save the cash and get the CAI and Tuner.

Thanks

Not the best pic, but you get the idea. I'll try to get some better pics with a real camera tomorrow. Not the crappy cell phone pics. I need to get some good pics anyway and it's supposed to be nice out.

I vote to at least remove or replace the the rocker stripe with a solid design...we all know it's a mustang, lol... I'm not sold on striping it though. I really think that it depends on what stripe you are thinking of going with.

Remove the rocker stripes.
This should give you an idea:

Yeah, I'm not 100% sold on striping it at all yet. I see one with stripes and think "man that looks good" then I look at mine and kinda go "hmm, maybe?"

I was thinking about the single wide stripe. I think they call it a "super snake" stripe.

I think the Lemans stripe looks better with the GT style grille, which I don't have.

The rocker stripe is close, but doesn't really match the top anyway.

That is a nice looking convertible 0IIII0.

I am going to get some better pics today. I might try photoshopping some stripes on it. Good idea.

Thanks

You can see mine in my sig - I went with the Shelby Super Stripe. I can't get to other pictures on this computer but if you need more I can post them up.

Since I have the Pony package, my side stripe is different from yours - it actually matches up with the superstripe rather than the twin le mans type stripe as your side one.

As you can see by my profile photo in the left, I have the snake stripe on my 2010 Vert. Mine's silver on gray and have a silver rocker stripe from American Muscle. Looks fine on a convertible IMO
