Default Mustang stripe.

Is it possible to remove the Mustang stripe on the sides of my 07 Pony without messing up the paint?

Yes. Either let it sit in the sun for an hour or so or use a hair dryer to heat the stripes and then carefully pull them off. However if your car sits outside all day long (not garaged) then you may encounter some other problems. The paint may be faded to the point where it will be noticable when you pull the stripe off.

Thanks just bought the car last week and the paint looks great so I think it probably has been mostly garage kept. It is that real dark metallic gray does anybody know the name for that color?

It's usuall the more vibrant colors that get damaged by the sun. Like reds and blues so if you're tungsten you should be fine

I pulled the stripe off my 05 Torch Red in '10 and there is no fading. You should be fine.
