slow down turn signals s197 05-09

Or just buy the drake kit, has a few options- including one that allows for the sequencing to be slowed down (not sure by how much though).
The slower sequence info is in this pdf (in the lower table)

I have no malfuntions in my turn signals but with sequentials, I would like to slow them down. Web Electrics leads me to believe that if the SJB was flashing slower the time between individual blinks would be more definate.
For example, instead of 1-2-3--1-2-3, it might look like 1--2--3---1--2--3, so to speak.
I believe my current rate of flash is twice as fast as I would like. If I could put an inexpensive relay or switch on the wire that sends the voltage to the left rear turn signal and one on the right. In my mind, I picture a capital "V". The voltage comes into the bottom of the "V" and goes to one leg of the "V". When voltage drops out, it switches to the other side. This repeats as long as the signal is flashing. One leg would continue to the tail light harness and the other leg would be a dummy or dead leg. In my mind, this would cause the
rate of flash to be cut in half. My current flash is fast enough that I don't think it would be too slow for legal issues.
As you can tell I must be a Master Electrician, haha.

Top make it flash slower, you have to change the capacitor in the flasher relay. i tried 2 different values and got it right. It does involve soldering, but it is a cheap fix.
Where in VA are you?

don't think so
I got someone to post his videos of his car with Drakes seq and did not see much difference in the two settings that I thought were going to be my solution. Until I see somebody else's showing something different, Drake is out.
Back in the good old days, like 97, you had a separate flasher that you could replace or tinker with. When the brains at Ford came up with the blankety, blank SJB, there is no separate flasher module. According to Ford, the SJB is not able to be modified. Since I'm near the capital, maybe I should write my congressman. haha.
