Just got my new hood painted and put on my car a few days ago. Now am I not sure about the side stripes on the car. Half the people I ask like them and then half of them would like it better all black.

Leave 'em. The "murdered out"/all-black look has to be done just right or it's simply boring.
You need a splash of color somewhere to keep it interesting. Looks good now.

Since you asked, I'd say yes. The stripes look good. I think maybe adding thinner border striping on the sides of the up and down stripe would give it a more finished look. But still looks nice.

So far it looks like more people like them than not. I wanted the side stripes originally because I don't think racing stripes look all that great on a convertible because we can't put them on the roof.

I was thinking about switching to some black wheels also but last weekend we were at a car show and ended up with a trophy for the wheels that are on it now.

I think im getting pretty close to where I want it as far as Appearance mods, I still need a light bar and maybe the cervini's eleanor kit.
