Chrome Mustang Trunk Lid Letters?
 

The guy I bought my 05 GT from had theese chrome mustang letters under the third brake light on the trunk lid. I'll be polishing her with a DA buffer this weekend and will de-badge the car to get better results. I'm not sure if I want the letters back on the trunk lid, or not. I'm leaning towards leaving them off. Looking for other opinions, what do you think? The exterior is all stock except for a shorty antenna.

I like them, although before I saw the pic the images I had made me think otherwise. Those are unique and not obtrusive or overly flamboyant. Nice touch, IMO.

not bad if your going for a more subtle look

Take them off

leave them off for a bit, then in a couple weeks decide which you liked better.
I like the letters on some cars but wouldn't fit in w/ the direction I went w/ my car

+1 that's the first time I've really seen anyone pull that off without it looking tacky.

The first time I washed the car two letters came off and a few were loose. I pulled the rest off and didn't plan on sticking them back on. Only a week later I changed my mind, just seemed like there was something missing, lol.

I'd heave them.

I have gone back and forth with putting them on my car. I personally like them, it reminds me of the Shelbys and adds a little bit of unique style to the car.

Not a big fan of letters.....but, it looks fine.

Have you considered the "Mustang" 3rd light decal?
