tinted tail lights my self
what you guys think just tinted my tail lights with vht put painters tape over the back up lights and traced with carpenders nice so it still has the exact look it did befor the tint

The tail lights don't need the wet sand and buffing if precations against dust are taken. I went with three coats personally. They come out glossy if ya keep your grubby fingers off um.
Protip: Be well read on your local laws about distances and light levels. In Illinois the law states that at night the running lights must be visible (assumably in complete blackness) at 500 ft and the brake lights must be visible at 1000 ft. I've got documentation in the form of flash free photos and videos ready in the car if officers give me trouble about them. (it also helps to not sound like an a hole about it, try and be polite)
