Default Car cover question

I've got the opportunity to pick up a Block-It Evolution car cover. It's one that's made for a 2012 GT.

1. Is this a good car cover to have?

2. Will it fit all right on my 2005 GT?

Thanks!

I had the Evolution Car Cover for mine. It is a good product and it does come with a 4 year warranty. After a year or 2 the fabric does starts to break down leaving dust particles on your car. That's when you contact them and they will give you information on how to send it back. ALL car covers will do this if you leave them parked outside. Please note that every time you go to put the cover on, you need to wipe your car down or you may get dirt and debris in bedded in the cover that could possible scratch the finish. I did this for a long time and it was well worth the trouble. I keep my Mustang parked in the garage now. If you have any questions, give me a shout, I'll be glad to assist you.

It is a good cover. I have one for my 2006. I'm not sure how well the 2012 will fit a 1st gen though. There are some minor changes to the body.

Your best bet would be to contact them or at the very least look on their website and see if it is a different part number for the 2 body styles.

Mustangs are big cars. I had a car cover for my 93 Thunderbird, it's important to not let the inside part of the cover touch the ground or it'll hold whatever grit or dirt hits it and that's just sandpaper after a while.

Almost a two person job to get them on sometimes!

Nah, it's not that hard to get one on if you fold it right. I did mine all by
myself a number of times. Now, when you FIRST get it, yeah you may need a little help because it's going to be stiff.
