Default Roush Rear Valance Question

Hey all, I have been thinking about getting the Roush Rear Valance. I know I have to get the Roush exhaust or modify my existing exhaust but I was wondering if the stock bumper needed any modification for it to be added without interfering with anything.

For those who are concerned about the Roush lettering on the valance, I will be filling them in, I don't like them on it any way.

Maybe those with the full Roush body kit can check to see if the stock rear fascia is modified at all and chime in?

You need to cut a good part of the original bumper away on both sides near the exhaust openings to install the Roush valance.

You can see the install directions with photos here: http://www.roushperformance.com/part...271-manual.pdf

Thanks for the info Torch. I never thought to look for instructions. Who looks at the instructions, I mean really? Lol.

I would consider the Street Scene lower valance instead. You don't have to buy the Roush exhaust and won't have to fill in the Roush lettering... It fits well with the Roush body kit too..

The reason I don't want the street scene rear valance is I don't want the GT500 look. I want to make it a little different. It may be more work but that's fine by me. I would just go with the GT500 rear fascia if I wanted that style.

Agreed. Different is good, and the Roush style bumper isn't seen all that often.

Haha. Yeah I was hoping you would chime in to let me know if it needed any modification but Torch beat you.

Completely agree. The fact that it isn't seen very often is a big thing for me, especially with square tips for the exhaust. It seems to fit the car and it's body lines better to me.

Now that school is getting close to starting up though everything is going to get pushed back until I get some money back in my pocket...
