painted rear window louvers? any pictures
 

I would like to see some pics of painted rear window louvers, if any body has any. Preferably lime green with black double stripes, but any pics should help me make up my mind of paint or no paint.

Go to the Chop Shop thread and post pictures of your car and someone can photoshop it to give you an idea of what it might look like.
I have seen one or two on here with them. They are OK painted, but I like them black.

That looks clean! You should paint your rockers too imo

The yellow Shelby is the only good pics that I have seen so far, and I found that car on another thread here after I posted this thread. I think I like it, but, what Shelby isn't nice. It would be nice to see it in my colors. But I already made an apt. with the paint shop, so I'll see it soon. Like my brother said, if I don't like the way it looks, it's easy to take it off and repaint it black.

I have and am considering this! I think it would look good!

That was my way of thinking too! If I didn't like it like it, I could repaint or remove it. The MRT louver is attached without any structural changes (sticks on the glass)! Be sure to show us the results....I think you'll really like it!

I'll try to get some pics up when the paint and stripes are done.

I'd be interested in seeing that as Mark is the only guy I've seen with a painted rear louver. I went unpainted for fear of having too much color on the top. My rationale was if it looked good with dark tinted glass, then it would look just as good with an unpainted louver.

I finally got my rear window louvers painted and got the car striped, but I could not get the pics to this thread, even though I did get them on the photo gallery. Check them out on the photo gallery. My 06 GT and my brothers Shelby also has the louvers with stripes.

Those look fantastic. If I ever get a hood, I'm planning on doing this too. I think the white with blue stripes would look great.

They both look great, I am prejudiced tho!

The nice thing about having a black car is that the louvers came body color. :)

That looks GOOD Tracedaddy! Black louvers look great on black cars!!

I loved my black louvers on my Windveil coupe. With some colors, I think it's a little much.

Legend Lime and Torch red especially. The whole car is just a little to...hot wheels I guess.

But with Vista or Redfire...yeah, I could see it.
