Default Added Fastback Emblem on my 2012 Stang

I got this idea from 05MineralGrayV6, thought it would look great (a little classic look touch), and decided to give it a try. Also added a smaller quarter window louver with velcro, this way I can actually wash the windows every now and then. Took about 2 hours to take off the other window louver with the adhesive tape and its residue. Sorry for the iphone picture quality.

Me/Wife, Yerbuddy, and another friend went cruis'in last night thru the city of Regensberg, Germany. Had a good time with a few spectators using their iphones to record the 20 minute event with 3 Mustangs rev'in up the exhaust system. 3rd friend has a 2011 GT with Xpipe, Headers, and Cams, so you can imagine the sound... Luckily we didnt get pulled over by the polizei, LOL..

I like it! Looks good and gives it a classic look. I've been thinking about doing the same thing myself. Where did you get the emblem?

It looks too crowded now with the side louvers IMO.
Either lose 'em or go with the SHR.

Still, those 69 badges look great regardless.
Are they still crazy expensive, like $90 a piece?

Edit:
Never mind, 07GrabU beat my post and answer my question...

@07 Grab: No prob..

@deprived: you can also get them at CJ Ponys. Just type "1969 fast back roof Ornament." they're $84.45 for a pair. Only thing is that its fir the older Mustangs and are meant to be screwed in. I simply used 3mm tape and its sticking on pretty well..

@padcal: yeah thats why i changed the Window louvers and got the ones with velcro. That Way i can either have the Louver look and without. But i gave been thinking about taking Off the eye splitter though.

@Redfire: Yeah, that's what I decided to go for, the RETRO LOOK. Next move will be finding a black center cap for the bullitt rims. After than, thinking about getting functional hood pins..

Keep in mind that the 69s didn't have louvers, glass or anything on those quarters and the previous years had functional louvers (except Shelbys) but no badges of any kind.
So it's one or the other IMO...
