If that's the case then would 18x8 still rub? I'm trying to look it up but not finding any info on what sizes tend to rub. I heard that 275s will rub, but that a 255 would probably be ok.

I'm almost positive AM states that all their combos are guaranteed not to rub with up to two inches of lowering, at least last time I checked. So you should be fine.
Very interested why 157db had rubbing issues...I've never heard of that before except with some pretty unusual dimensions.

Everything on my girl is stock, I just don't want her rubbing, it doesn't really matter to me if I have 8/10 or 9/10, though I would also like to hear a little more what 157db has setup.
edit: just called AM and they said so long as it's not lowered like 2-4 inches they've had no problems with even lock-lock turning/rubbing.
