Got the grille AJ! Thanks. I started hacking away and here's what it looks like with all the honeycombs cut out. Still needs some filler to smooth things out before painting.

Looks like you have a similar idea to what I want to do with mine. Can't wait to see how yours turns out!

I haven't done much since last weekend. More sanding and a little filler. Not much to see yet but I promise I'll put up pics with progress.

Here's a quick pic of it laying on top of the mesh I got from McMaster. Right below it you can see the lower grille I started modifying a while ago. The inserts are just primed right now. I'm not leaving them white, everything will get the Plasti-Dip treatment like the lower grille frame. The stuff is actually pretty cool and more durable than I thought.

Moar to come! haha

I was looking at my front end today and curious how it would look if you had a honeycomb-less grill (like what you originally posted), relocated the horns, and had a big shiney aluminum radiator...

Getting close to a finished project!

Just got done gluing the mesh in place and ran out of the epoxy. Here is a pic of it on the car. Tomorrow I hope to get the plasti dip on it, then it will really blend in. I better order some new driving lights and tinted covers to complete the new look.
