Default Its time for springs!

Ok, I'm ready to bite the bullet on some springs. 08 CS with stock CS wheels.

For all of you owners with a CS front or back bumper. What is the recommended drop for us? I know it will be less than the guys with GT bumpers can pull off. I've seen several owners with 1.5" drops all around but I'm a little hesitant to go that low with mine. Thoughts? Recommendations? I'm all ears...

I'm very pleased with the Eiback ProKit, nice drop, good overall ride with stock 18" wheels. No other parts to buy, just a realignment. Here's a side shot of before & after, I'll try to find one with my 18" stock wheels ( I'm now running 20X9" 22mm offset, and no rubbing issue at all. So with the stock 18x8.5" 50mm offset there is no worry at all )

I ran the eibach sportlines for about 2 years with mine. I would run a set of FRPP K spings. The sportlines were a little to rough for my liking. It looked good though.

Thanks for the replies. I had been debating a 1" vs 1.5" kit. The car is a daily driver so that should also be taken into consideration. With the 1" kit would I regret it or is it enough of a difference?

Also, with either kit, can I get away with just springs or should I wait until my budget will allow for new shocks, etc...?

I would do shocks and struts at the same time IMO. I ran my sportlines, and wished I would have waited to everything at once. With my 2013, I did the K springs and the FRPP shock and strut kit. Smooth ride, and handles well on the track.

I would go with at least 1.5" IMO. never been a fan of the 1" drops.

From my experience with the 18" wheels & pro-kit combo, the ride was not that bad at all, i drove the car 2 years with it but when i switch to 20" ........... outch ! now i will buy new shocks & struts. I'm not regretting the drop at all, just love the killer look of it . The sprotline drop is 1.5" to 2.0" then you need damper shocks & struts for a drop like that, the Pro-kit is 1.00" to 1.25" you can leave you're oem shocks. Had mine for 3 years now and after a few months they drop to 1.5" rear, 1.25" front.

Tanner, love your car, but I hate dirt roads. At lest in OK, it is probably red dirt!
