Anybody have thoughts on the narrowed Eleanor grille fog lights versus the stock GT wider ones with the pony centered? I don't know if I want to change something that I really like... thanx

I did it and never looked back...
The only one I have seen around here...

Of course you will want to black out all
the sheetmetal behind the grill while you
have access to it...

where did you find the one with the running horse on it? american muscle has the cheaper plain one.. looks like an ebay item.
ive only seen the one with the horse once and it was super expensive..

I am interested in doing the same mod with my V6 pony edition and am getting mixed information about whether I need a wiring harness to hook up the GT fog lamps. AM says I need the wiring harness because the lamp connectors will not fit from the pony style lamps to the GT lamps. Then I read that I only need a pigtail to connect the lamps. Can someone clarify what I may need to do this mod? I will be purchasing the grille from Street Scene and I can purchase the complete kit with the lamps and wiring harness but don't want to spend unnecessary dollars since I am going to purchase a set of wheels and tires before the spring.

You need the 'adapters' to go from the H10 PP fogs to the 9145 GT bulb...

I put a 99-04 mustang fender badge running
horse on a V6 StreetScene Eleanor Grill.
The badges are smaller than the 05-09 fender badges.
I got it off of eBay...

I used some 3M VHB Emblem tape to install it.

Are they the same adaptors that Street Scene sells or a different brand?

in your case how was the install for the grille..
i read that some metal cutting was involved? while some people say it is not necessary?

This set will allow you to convert your factory wires from H11 connectors (used for V6 Pony Package fog lamps) to H10 connectors (used on most GT style fog lamps). If your V6 came with fog lamps from the factory and you upgraded to a GT-style grille with fog lamps (which use H10 bulbs) this is all you need to connect your new fog lamps.
