Battery Insulation Wrap- 06 GT
The oem wrap is falling apart on the side that is nearest to the engine block. Should I just remove it, or replace ? Anyone know where I can find a direct replacement, incase I decide to go that route ?

Personally, I think the battery wrap is, for the most part, useless. Due to the density of the components that comprise the battery, it'll take quite some time for the battery to heat up to the engine compartment temperature. And in the sumer heat while it bakes under the hood, it'll conversely take quite some time for the battery to cool off. IMO, the blanket simply increases the time it takes somewhat for these temperature swings to go full course. I can understand the desire to maintain the factory appearance but I wouldn't sweat it from a functional standpoint.
