That's just gorgeous right there, awesome work man. Any engine cleaning tips you'd like to share would be greatly appreciated

Thanks everyone for the compliments! you dont know how much I appreciate it! Basically how I cleaned it was by hand with simplegreen, 2 small microfiber towels, and a toothbrush also some chrome polish. I wait for the engine to be completely cooled down and start with a spray bottle of simple green and work my way around takes me about 6-8 hours done over couple days. It's good to walk away from it for a while too because sometimes the light hits it differently and you see areas you might not have seen before. I try to do it outside in natural light as a carshow judge would see it. Once you get the big first major cleaning of the year done the rest of the carshow year its usually just maintenence here and there. I probably will spend about 15 min to a half an hour at most after washing and waxing the car.

The shock tower covers and plenum cover were bought painted from a place called midwest auto gear which unfortuntely is out of business. the shock tower covers have the number 4.0 on them.

Thanks for the reply. I knew that Midwest made the plenum cover, as I have one on my 07 and my gf's 06. They were a real biatch to come up with, especially two of them, but I finally did. I had never seen the tower covers with the 4.0 on them and couldn't read the pic very well, so I didn't make it out. Nice addition.
