Sweet...
NEVER paint that thing body colour. At least if its a daily driver.
I just buy a can of rocker guard ($) every year and re-spray it. Stone chip city.
I would be sooo offended if I had painted it body colour ($$$) and it accumulated the amount of stone chips it has.
Also, the black matches the car's lines with the black rocker panels.

+1 on not painting the chin spoiler, get some plasti dip and call it a day. Mine already has a good amount of marks from rocks, I couldn't imagine what it would look like if it was painted body color.
