Installing rocker stripes myself
#11
I would recommend using 90% or higher rubbing alcohol. This is recommended when cleaning the paint and installing quarter panel window louvers on my car.
As mentioned above, painters tape is a good way to make sure the rocker decals are straight. I used painters tape to make sure my louvers were straight and centered properly.
You don't need a lot of water/soap when installing. My brother helped me with my Saleen faded stripes and a little water was needed.
Good luck!

One more thing there, start the painter's tape in the middle of the car and work out. Same with applying the stripes. When I just covered my stripes for claying/waxing I noticed that the tape would sag quite a bit in the middle (compared to the straight stripe). Even pulling it quite tight. All the vids I've see, they tape up the center and work their way out. Please, post pix and let us know how it goes.

Well I finally got them on.
Thanks for all the great input guys.
They look awesome, helps to break all that grabber blue up.
I will post pics as soon as I am set up to do so. I have not posted pics here yet.
Oh by the way which side should Hash marks go on, Drivers side right?
