Smoked amber corners
Does anyone know of a company who makes smoked amber front turn signals. Like OEM but smoked. I like the look of smoked OEM ambers but do not know how to do them my self. I do not want to do film or niteshades spray.
I want them shiny long lasting. Or does someone professionally paint them if I send them my OEM? |

Not cheap, but here's an option...

you could check ebay. They have a large selection, and good prices, just make sure you buy from a reliable seller!

I have a friend that could paint them for you if you mailed them to him. Message me if you're interested.
He did my tails and they came out flawlessly. |
I sourced a cheap spare pair of OEM ones of a local site. They were in bad shape, previous owner tried tinting them. they were super dark with runs everywhere.
I took them and sanded down from 180-220-320-400-600-800, used the rustoleum as shown above. I am waiting on the tint to dry. SHould I sand the tinit with 800 wet sand before clear? or just clear over the tint. I will of course sand the clear coat with 2000 grit and polish |
They used to be all over ebay and I'm sure they still are. I installed smoke on my '07 and clear on my wife's '06. You'll need to buy the chrome bulbs that light up amber to remain legal and so not to see amber when the lights are off. You can get those on ebay, too. Just do yourself a favor and pick up spare bulbs.

I bought some knockoff ebay units and they are slightly smaller than OEM. There is a slight gap in the fitment if you really look for it. I still have my OEM units so I will probably attempt painting them someday.

I got my smoked ones off eBay for about $40 a few years back. They came with the amber bulbs and work perfectly.
