Look what was delivered today
 

I was not expecting delivery of my new hood, the paint shop delivered my Carbon Fiber A61, they clear coated the hood but I had them add 20% black into the clear coat so it looks black but you can still see the carbon fiber weaving, Love my new hood thanks Phil & Brandon @ Trufiber/Trucarbon and David & Julio @ Perl enterprise paint shop.
Here you go hope you all like it....Its so shinny that its hard to get a good clear shot. cant wait to put it on the car, my son will be putting it on this Sunday more pictures to follow.

I like how you can't see the fibers from afar but you can see them at a close up. Sweet looking hood can't wait to see it after you install it. And one more thing that hood is shiny it's making me see spots just kidding. Sweet looking hood congrats.

That is the exact hood that I want on my Redfire. They never got back to me if that hood would be OK with hood struts though...

I really wish they made that hood with the 13 style vents for the 05-09s. I would buy one in an instant.

It weird that they never got back to you, but to answer your question yes the hood struts would be fine, this is my 4th Trufiber hood and I have had NO problems with the hood struts, hopes this helps.

I know I wish my son would do it already, I cant do it I had surgery for a torn tendon in my wrist so I'm glad my son is in town this weekend. I'll post some pictures next week.

That is too sick!! I have never thought about adding a drop of black to the clear over CF. Coolest effect ever. Well done!!
